IKO Certified Kiteboarding Instructional Program
Kitesurfing is the fastest growing watersport in the world. With proper training and equipment, you can experience the freedom of riding with the power of thw wind. You don't have to learn how to surf, you just need an open mind to learn this new and exciting sport.
We employ an instructional program certified by the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) taught by IKO qualified instructors.
Our goal is to teach all our students to be able to kiteboard safely and autonomously. The IKO program is sectioned into different skill levels that can be achieved by students during their learning process. After the lesson, students are evaluated and certified with an IKO Kiteboarder Card stating their level. By presenting this card (similar to a PADI card for SCUBA diving) to any IKO center worldwide, the student can continue their training, rent equipment suited to their level, or receive discounts on goods and services.

Are your instructors certified? What do I need to bring?
Can I get a kiteboarder certification card? Do you conduct lessons year round? How many hours is your lesson program? Can I complete the beach and water sessions on same day? We usually pair 2 students with 1 instructor. We feel that this is the best ratio for safety as well as learning. During the lesson, the 2 students will learn faster by watching and assisting each other. As the lesson progresses, the instructor will do less and less and the students will do everything on their own. What can I do before the class?
We will provide trainer kites & 4-line inflatable bow kites in small sizes (5m, 7m, 9m) for land training, 4-line inflatable bow kites in larger sizes (12m, 14m, 16m) for water training, twin-tip boards, impact vest (optional) and helmet. What happens when you are scheduled for a lesson?
Can I use my own equipment during the lesson? Will I be able to kiteboard after taking the course? Where do provide your lessons? What time do lessons take place? What days do you offer lessons and how do make a reservation? I am an accomplished wakeboarder. Will I be able to pick up kiteboarding really quick?
